Nothing beats seeing dolphins swimming in the wild. On our recent trip to Batangas, we had our first experience of dolphin watching. It was a surprise when about 20-30 dolphins swim off the beach of Masaguitsit in Lobo, Batangas.
Masaguitsit is a small barangay of Lobo, Batangas which is part of the Luzon group of islands. This barangay is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean that is home to many marine creatures. Just by looking in the ocean is the Isla Verde, a nearby island where its passage is one of the busiest sea lanes in the Philippines.

"Ang dami nilang sunud-sunod na lumalangoy. Ngayon na naman ulit sila nagpakita dito," a local resident said.
Though most dolphin watching tours are offered in Puerto Galera, this rare occasion can also bee seen in Batangas. If you’re lucky, you may get an opportunity to see and watch them.
